Rachael Vollmer, IBCLC, LMT

bm faves-25Drawn to the holistic healing community in Portland, OR, Rachael attended East West College of Healing Arts and completed an 600 credit hour curriculum in 2006.  Since graduation she has continued to expand the breadth of her knowledge through continuing education and self study. Rachael specializes in working with women during pregnancy and has completed a 32-hour certificate program in pre- and perinatal massage therapy.

In addition to pre- and perinatal work, Rachael enjoys working with a vast array of clients, customizing each massage session to meet her clients’ unique and individual needs. Rachael incorporates numerous massage modalities into her practice including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, fascial work and trigger point therapy.

Rachael holds a Biology degree from Portland State University.  Her understanding of the natural sciences, along with a keen sense of intuition, provide great strength to her practice.  In addition to her massage practice, Rachael is also an internationally board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC), as well as a certified Restorative Exercise Specialist (read more) with the Restorative Exercise Institute.

Rachael enjoys her work immensely and looks forward to helping others create their own vision of health, balance and harmony.
