Nature of Body Scheduling Policieslooking up at trees

We do everything we can to provide the best possible service to our clients.  When scheduling your appointment with Nature of Body, we respectfully ask that you please be sure this day and time will work for your/your family’s schedule.  Please keep in mind that when you schedule an appointment, we are dedicating a minimum of 2 hours entirely to you.  It is very difficult for us to fill cancelled appointments with less than 24 hours notice.  This is very unfortunate for other clients who could have been served during this time.  It also has a direct financial impact on both the business and our individual therapists.

In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:

Cancellations and Rescheduling

24 hour advance notice is required when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.  This allows the opportunity for someone else to fill that time slot.

If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your scheduled appointment.  This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled session.

As a courtesy for first-time occurrences, if you must cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice you will be given the option to reschedule at that time and only incur a fee equal to 50% of your previously scheduled service.  This fee, as well as your future scheduled appointment must be paid at this time.  All future appointments cancelled within 24 hours will be charged at full price.

Gift Certificates and Prepaid Packages

Canceling/rescheduling of an appointment in less than 24 hours or failure to attend a scheduled appointment with the intent of redeeming a gift certificate or prepaid service will result in the forfeiting of that certificate/prepaid service.  Please see above for first-time occurrences.  Please see below for emergencies and extenuating circumstances.

Clients who either forget or consciously choose to forgo a scheduled appointment will be considered a “no-show.”  No-shows will be charged in full for their missed appointment and future service will be denied until payment is made.

If you have a cold, flu, sore throat, stomach virus, poison ivy, skin rash or any other contagious condition, please reschedule your appointment.  Our therapists will extend the same common courtesy.

Emergencies and Extenuating Circumstances

We certainly understand that extenuating circumstances (emergencies, labor/birth, inclement weather, etc.) may not always allow for 24 hours notice to cancel/reschedule appointments.  For these situations we simply ask that you provide as much notice as possible.  No fees will be incurred for failure to provide 24 hours notice due to extenuating circumstances.  This decision is at the discretion of your scheduled therapist.

Thank you in advance for your consideration of our schedules.  We absolutely honor and respect your time, and greatly appreciate the reciprocation.
